Type of Mask: Mask with filter, branded by Physicians for Human Rights

I chose this mask because: it arrived unexpectedly in the mail. 

I got this mask from: The organization Physicians for Human Rights. They sent this to me one day by mail, presumably as a consequence of being on a donor list (part of my larger efforts to explore the NGO end of the medical humanitarian world… I’m still waiting to see whether MSF sends one). Even more to my surprise, it’s both a comfortable fit and appears relatively well-made. Unfortunately, it carries no trace of its sourcing, nor does its website provide a quick answer.

My favorite feature of this mask is: the slogan because it makes me laugh. I never imagined I’d ever own a mask with the motto: “Because science”

When I think of #Logistics during this pandemic, these three words come to mind: exposed, strained, gaps.
